  • Glue. It can be glue-pencil, PVA glue or glue gun - any method will work, the main thing is to glue the elements together well;
  • Scissors to cut out details;
  • Cardboard is the basis for a future craft;
  • Paints. It is more preferable to take gouache, these paints are more dense and do not lose color with time, unlike watercolor .;

For a snowman from cotton wheels, you need to take four wadding discs, cardboard for the base, black buttons (three medium and two small), sequins, a piece of orange dense fabric, two small twigs for hands, scissors, paints and glue.

The cardboard-base is colored with gouache, the background depends on your imagination. Since the snowman consists, as a rule, of three large balls, for the first and biggest one we take a whole cotton disc, we glue it to the dried out background. The second ball is cut with scissors and we make it a little bit smaller than the first, also glued, slightly overlapped with the first. And the third, the smallest wadded disk that forms the head, we cut out the diameter even smaller than the second wadded disk. We glue the disk-head to the body of the snowman. All neatly, but strongly pressed, so that it adhered well to the cardboard.

Now we paste the buttons. Two small buttons play the role of the eyes, and the middle buttons have buttons on the torso of the snowman. We glue the branches on the hands. We fold the orange dense fabric with a cone, - this will be a spout-carrot, - and glue it to the bottom of the upper disc. A hat or a bucket of snowman can be cut out of black or gray cardboard, and you can cut it out of the remaining wadded disc and, applying gouache in black, glue it to the applique.

Remains of cotton discs can be glued to the bottom of our future picture, it will be snowdrifts. Finish the handicraft by decorating: we put the sequins on the snow and on the background, you can use beads or small beads instead of sequins.

Making a caterpillar made of cotton discs is even easier than a snowman, you can seat it on flowers.

For the caterpillar, you will need a cardboard base, several cotton wheels for the body of the caterpillar, black beads or decorative eyes, scissors, glue and paints.

Wadded discs should be painted green, wait until it dries completely. You can also paint the cardboard, you can draw a sheet on it, on which the caterpillar will "sit". Bind one disc in a lap with the previous one. We start from the end of the caterpillar, so the last glued disc is the future face of the caterpillar. We glue beads or eyes on it, draw a mouth and cheeks. In addition, you will need to cut out small horns and paint them in yellow. They are stuck in the last place to the head. Our hare will consist of a trunk, 2 ears and 4 paws. Also we need to cut out the cheeks (two teardrop-shaped cuttings). First on the cardboard we glue the first element - the torso of the hare, a whole cotton disc. Then we glue the face - the disk needs to be cut to make a circle with a slightly smaller diameter than the trunk. To the person we paste cheeks, and also cut from pieces of felt blue eyes, a red mouth and a spout. Further we glue ears and feet. The presentation of the works is visible in the photo.
